APPLICATION:

.Metal surface treatment: ammonium bifluoride can be used to form a protective layer on metal surface to prevent corrosion and oxidation, and is often used for polishing and cleaning metals such as nickel, chromium and tungsten. In addition, it can also be used for passivation treatment of stainless steel.

.Semiconductor technology: In semiconductor manufacturing, ammonium bifluoride, as an etchant, can remove the oxide layer and polysilicon surface on the surface of silicon wafer, helping to manufacture more fine semiconductor chips.

.Chemical industry: ammonium hydrogen fluoride is an important intermediate forpreparing other fluorides (such as aluminum fluoride and sodium fluoride), which is widely used in fluorine chemical industry.

.Medical uses: In dental treatment, ammonium bifluoride can be used to enhance the hardness of tooth surface and prevent dental caries and dentine hypersensitivity. In addition, it can also be used as a disinfectant to effectively kill bacteria, viruses and fungi.

.Environmental protection: ammonium bifluoride can be used for wastewater treatment, especially for fluoride-containing wastewater, to help remove fluoride from water and improve water quality.

.Other industrial applications: ammonium bifluoride can also be used in electroplating, glass etching, textile industry, etc., as an etchant, cleaning agent and catalyst.
